Chrysler is preparing to launch one of its most important products in years, the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has said before that the latest generation of the Grand Cherokee is so important that the company will risk postponing its launch if it is not perfect.
But so far, the 2011 Grand Cherokee seems gearing up for its launch as scheduled, with the official unveiling of the production vehicle this Friday at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit where the vehicle is being assembled. Jeep Bristol employees are excited about the launch saying’ “Our customers have been asking when we’re going to start bringing new models to the showroom floor.”
In addition to helping revitalize a once strong-selling nameplate, the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee is also the first product to emerge from Chrysler since its partnership with Italian automaker Fiat. This new product will therefore speak volumes in regard to the automaker’s ongoing turnaround. The Grand Cherokee should remain popular with boat owners, New York Boat Dealer says.
The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee will go on sale next month with a base price of $32,995 for the Grand Cherokee Laredo 4×4.
