2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Hits the Trail

by Jeep in the News on February 3, 2010

Making its world debut next week at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show, the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the first all-new model to be released from Chrysler in quite some time. As one of the brand’s most popular nameplates, the updated Grand Cherokee is likely to be a welcomed addition to the lineup, and its good looks, powerful engines, and surprising luxury also bode well for its release.

Of course as a Jeep, the 2011 Grand Cherokee has to be more capable than the average midsized crossover. In addition to providing room for the whole family and a sumptuous interior, the Grand Cherokee also has to be able to tackle off-road obstacles just as competently as it tackles the urban jungle. That’s precisely why this new model took on the Rubicon Trail last week so that it could earn its Trail Rated certification.
