After promising that the all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee would be fully revealed this week, Chrysler did not disappoint.

Not only is the Grand Cherokee completely redesigned with a contemporary and handsome exterior and interior, the new Jeep also features a panoramic dual-pane sun roof and loads soft-touch materials inside that provide a premium look and feel. But despite new amenities and increased comfort, the latest Grand Cherokee is still a Jeep through and through. Maintaining brand integrity is important, Jeep Dealer Connecticut says.

“Capability highlights include a choice of three 4×4 systems, new Jeep Quadra-Lift Air Suspension and Selec-Terrain systems and towing  capability of 7,400 lbs,” Chrysler said in a statement. “On-road dynamics are improved courtesy of new independent front and rear suspension systems and a new body structure that dramatically increases torsional stiffness.”

Powering the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a new 3.6-liter V6 that produces 290 horsepower, said Executive Jeep. This unit also delivers an 11 percent improvement in fuel economy when compared to the previous model.

Pricing for the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4×2 model starts at $30,995.
